Trip to Cameron Highlands and Perak (Part 2)

Cameron Highlands (Continue from Part 1 )
What a beauty. I can spend whole day just to admire the beauty of Cameron Highlands sky. No wonder the British love it so much in the colonial time.

One of the hotel in Brinchang.

My daughter Aesya; she "overdo". Not that cold actually.

Nice cup of coffee and a waffle to warm it up. Where are the tea and scones?

On our way back from Cameron Highlands quick trip.

Perak, see also About Perak :

Our hotel stay  in Ipoh, Hotel Ipoh City-nice and cheap, RM 93 (USD 25)

Kway Teow Soup Ipoh.

Gigantic crowd puller, The Lost World of Tambun. see official website

Free Lion "puke" massage, Lost World of Tambun.
Natural Hot Spring 38 degree C in Lost World in Tambun, Ipoh.

Taman Jepun, Ipoh City

Journey to the West

Take it easy.. no free banana.

Galery Sultan Azlan Shah, personal collection of the King of the Perak State. People's King, Law maker and also involved in many sporting activities in his younger era.

Ice cream sandwich, comfort food with a lot of childhood memories sold outside Gallery.

Sungai Kangsar Panorama, Kuala Kangsar.

Dataran Sungai Perak, Kuala Kangsar.

Classic swing bridge near Dataran Sungai Perak.

Taiping Zoo, night safari.

No joke!! Bistro in Zoo.

Public Holiday (Xmas) double with Malaysian School Holiday. So many people, yet so few animal awake. No animals' photo taken. I just follow the rules but, heck I saw people snapping photo like nobody business.
Our trip was fun and quick. Overall, Cameron was a relaxing as always. Perak trip also fun but the Night Safari was a so so due to out of controlled crowd and limited train service. If the Taiping Zoo could improved their train service, I think, they can always beat the rest in Malaysia. The Lost World of Tambun was world class. Come and enjoy "Cuti-cuti Malaysia"

Trip to Cameron Highlands and Perak (Part 1)

Recently, my family and I went to Cameron Highlands and Perak. The trip was fun and full of colors. This time I will let the photos tell a story.

Part 1. Cameron Highlands. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameron_Highlands

Cameron Highlands, tourist heaven and major vegetable producer in Malaysia. Reminds me of Berastagi in Medan, Indonesia.

Rose Valley in Kampung Tringkap.

This forest won't last another 10 years if not properly maintain by those involved in agro tourism here in Cameron Highlands.

Souvenirs stalls right infront of Rose Valley entrance.

Local Mint Leaves anyone?

I am no landscaping or garden expert, therefore I can only provide photo. I have no idea the names of this beauty.

Yummy!

Koi Fish pond in the Rose Garden. Just sit back, relax and unwind.

Cheerful and bright colors are for those who are daring.

I think flowers watching is one of the best mind's therapy.

Love me or hate me, I am just drop dead beautiful.

I fall in love with this green thing.

Guess what? Dried pumpkin. Remember Drunken Master movie? Pumpkin of this type can be used for storing wine and water. Exotic!!

White can be so calming...Agree?

So many plants, flowers and such.

The classic beauty, pink roses.

Roses are red, voilets are blue...no such thing here.

Do not pick or pluck the flowers.

Bird of Paradise

I like..I like.

Fresh highlands air. View from Rose Valley hilltop.

Pisang kaki, (literally means banana feet) fruit tree?!

Seriously!
There are so much more to share...But I think, better for you guys to check it out personally. The beauty of Cameron Highlands is just too good to be missed. Signing off now. Part 2 is on the way.

Hutan Lipur Ulu Paip-Destinasi Perkelahan Keluarga

Saya lupalah namanya. Tapi cantikkan?

Ulat Gonggok Hutan Lipur Ulu Paip.

Kehijauan hutan simpan Negeri Kedah.

Pokok Palma apa ni? Pokok Palas ke?

Tu dia. Makanan simple tapi sedap banget. Kerang rebus cicah air asam, gulai lemak udang, ikan sardin goreng dan ayam goreng. Mak aii...terbaek dari dapur chef Noriati.

Ishhh...ishhh.. ermmm.. gulp!!

Jangan minum air tu, belum masak lagi nanti sakit perut.

Siokkknya mandi kat Sungai Ulu Paip ni..Rasa macam tak mau balik Johor jer. Gerek Sehhh!!
